IRS Forms 1023 & 1024 Must be filed with the IRS by an organization to obtain recognition of its 501(c) status, which exempts qualifying organizations from federal and local taxes. The 1023 must be used by organizations applying for 501(c)(3) status; the 1024 is used by all others.

IRS form 990 Used by charitable organizations to provide the IRS with legally-required financial information.
IRS Form 990, Schedule A Must be filed by organizations whose gross receipts are normally $25,000 or more.
IRS form 990-PF Must be filed by private foundations.
IRS Form 990-EZ (Short Form Return of Organization Exempt From Income Tax) may be filed instead of Form 990 only if the organization's gross receipts during the year are less than $100,000 and its total assets at the end of the year are less than $250,000.
IRS Form 990-T The unrelated business income tax form.

IRS Form 4506-A Used to request a copy of an exempt organization's return or exemption application. Charges do apply.
